How does Distribution Manager work?

Distribution Manager is able to transfer files both using the File Transfer Protocol (ftp) over tcp/ip connections, and between Windows shared network volumes or locally on a single server. It can even send files by email.

Which formats are supported by Distribution Manager?

Distribution Manager is file independent, so it will transfer any file in the input folder.
Distribution Manager has also built in support for Macbinary, Binhex and ZIP conversion. It will pack Macintosh files in Macbinary format to preserve Macintosh file properties.
