Content- and Resource-planing direct in QuarkXPress with an XPress palette.
The XTension ex ContentBrowser enables a fast and efficient content search within different databases. By using connectors different datasources can be linked in. For example:
- SQL-databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Digital Asset Management Systems
- dio:content from Picturesafe
- Fotoware (with Fotoweb)
- Alfresco
- Example workflow with Fotoweb from Fotoware
Connectors for other databases can be realized quickly.
The searched data will be entered in a palette directly in QuarkXPress, QuarkCopyDesk and in connection with the QuarkPublishing System.
Content can be searched in the following data sources:
- Production databases
- Archive databases
- RSS Feeds
- Newsclusters (only with dio:content)
- Wires (ex Wire)
- Internet (Searchengines, Wikipedia etc.)
With ex ContentBrowser content can be searched and the results can be gathered in different subjects and checked in directly to a publishing system. The XTension is very flexibel in configuration.
