NEW: Kalimat 5.0

The new Kalimat™ v5 is designed to run under Mac OSx 10.7, 10.6 and 10.5.

Layout developed this new version to continue the successful path of Kalimat and be fully compatible with new Lion Mac OSx 10.7.
The new version has now the ability to open Arabic word documents saved in (.doc) and (.docx) formats as well as RTF files, the older version used to accept only plain text format.
Kalimat (MAC OS X) are  Layout's most widely known Arabic desktop publishing software.

It is a perfect tool to insert Arabic texts in all Macintosh illustration and photo retouching programs such as  Adobe® Photoshop®, Adobe Illustrator®, Macromedia Flash™, CorelDraw™ and Avid Technology, Inc.
