Markzware announces a free FlightCheck update

This new update allows the user to drop folders of multiple files of QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign onto the FlightCheck icon for preflighting.

Additional improvements are:

• Working restrictions with corrupted data less rigid
  
• Modified read-in of Illustrator files for a better handling of documents, in which layers have been labeled as not recognizable or locked
  
• Enhanced font recognition in small point sizes in Adobe Illustrator (.ai and eps file creation autside Illustrator)
  
• The adressed content of an "Image box" containing a scaled eps picture does not any longer end up in the output of "image_name is transparent", if there is no transparency
  
• Coordinated creation and change date and finder data
  
• Enhanced reading and distinguishing of font characters in QuarkXPress 7 documents
  
• Enhanced scanning of Illustrator CS3 files for handling of formerly not recognized files
  
• Enhanced reading capability of additional QuarkXPress files
  
• Enhanced reporting of resolution data for JPEGs using EXIF files
  
• Enhanced recognition of font characters, also these which were created more than 10 years ago
