ex TranslationFilter for QuarkXPress 2015 announced!
ex TranslationFilter for QXP 2015 will come shortly after the release of QXP 2015
ex TranslationFilter augments QuarkXPress and Indesign to support import and export of content into XLIFF or Word documents. This allows for an easy translation workflow where all formatting is kept intact.
Trados, Across or memoQ support XLIFF.
The advantages are obvious:
- The translator needs neither the original layout or fonts - they can work in a familiar translation system
- No accidental tampering of the layouts within the translation workflow
- Cost savings due to the flexibility in selection of translation agencies
- Time savings due to the ex- and import of the translation contens with just a few clicks!
- no more Copy & Paste - ex TranslationFilter reads translated XLIFF directly.
- Layout and formatting are correct after import

QuarkXPress 2015 is announced for mid / end march, therefor we are working already on porting the ex TranslationFilter and it will be released just a few weeks later.
