With MBC4 you are able to create more then 200 Barcode Types:
- more then 30 kinds of Code 128
- EAN 13, EAN 8, EAN 13+2, 13+5
- all kinds of UPC
- Interleaved 2 of 5 (ITF)
- Code 39
- ISBN
- Codabar
- ISSN
- PostNET
- QRcode
The new version supports GS1-Databar, Intelligent Mail and Code 128 Subset A as well as the regular barcode types. It also includes updates to comply with the latest GS1 Barcode Specifications.

Once the bar code type has been selected, MBC4 displays the main bar code window and 2 'floating' panels of controls. Each palette has a number of tabs. Clicking on a tab will bring it to the front.
The palettes can be closed by clicking in the 'close' box in the top left corner of the palette or collapsed by clicking in the box in the top right corner. To reactivate the palettes, choose one of the tabs from the 'Settings' menu and the relevant palette will be displayed.
The main window is used to enter the bar code data and to view the bar code before saving it.
MBC4 includes the following features:
