PostScript Extras

In this part of the print job definition you can define sets to insert additional PostScript code into the output stream. This is necessary for parsing the PostScript data during post processing to replace pictures or something similar.

QuarkXPress delivers so called callbacks on certain places (for example beginning and end of a page or beginning and end of a picture). These callbacks are controlled by PrintTools in order to insert a valid PostScript code. It can be a simple comment like "Warning, picture begins here" or an executable PostScript code.
