Versalhöhen XTension
Input of font sizes in QuarkXPress as cap height or X-height
The Versalhöhen XTension allows input of font sizes in QuarkXPress in cap height or X-height. Furthermore the XTension allows the input of font sizes in Didot following the Berthold systematics. Thus layouts, which have been made in classical typesetting systems or prepared for work under Berthold rules, can be transferred into QuarkXPress. All values that have been entered can of course also be shown in an equal measuring system.
The integrated guideline manager provides exact numeric handling of guide lines. With this function precise guide lines can be generated through the input of numbers, the position can be changed again easily or a guide line grid will be created. You can swiftly choose to create a guide line on only one page, on the whole document or on the spread. With a simple mouse click you can fix all guide lines in the finished layout in order to prevent accidental moving. By double clicking on the guide line you get the current value back and can edit it on a freely movable palette.
