Easy use of style sheets

Stylin’ allows you to apply certain portions of a QuarkXPress style sheet to your text. Style sheets are powerful formatting tools. However, applying a style sheet may reformat some of the attributes you don't want formatted. Stylin’ solves this problem with a couple of clicks of the mouse.

Stylin’ uses a floating palette that contains all the paragraph and character style sheets for your document. By clicking on one of the style sheet names, you can use the style sheet to override specific attributes. The attributes that are not reformatted are remembered between each use. Stylin’ stores frequently used settings for easy recall. This prevents the need to constantly change the Stylin’ preferences. By shift-clicking on the style sheet in the Stylin’ palette, a simplified dialog allows you to select the setting you want to use.
By option-clicking on the style sheet in the Stylin’ palette, you can choose the attributes to not reformat when the style sheet data is applied to the text. Once you have the settings set to your liking, they can be store for quick recall in either of the Stylin’ dialogs.
