This XTension to QuarkCopyDesk 8.1 prevents editing of QPS articles, which have been opened as Read-Only document.

In previous versions of QuarkCopyDesk Read-Only articles text could be read and could be copied into clipboard for further usage. As soon as you tried to insert text the alert sound was initiated. 

In QuarkCopyDesk 8 text can be inserted into the article, but the document cannot be saved. This might lead to loss of date.

The XTension does not need any preferences or dialogs.
