ex Protector

Save the copyrights of documents

This XTension saves the copyright of a document, because the creator can transfer the document and protect it at the same time against changes/working on it. It is possible to only open the document and print it as well as to protect several specifications as colors, style templates etc.

The ex Protector is bound to the XPress serial number as most other XTensions, too. If you pass a document which was saved with ex Protector you have to hand out "your" ex Protector XTension along with the document. The XTension runs on another XPress in a so called "viewer mode" to give a third party the possibility to feed in the password for opening. If you do not hand out ex Protector, a document cannot be opened! A document protected by ex Protector cannot be opened without the proper password.
