an XTension which automatically updates price lists

This is an XTension which automatically updates price lists. Simply define clusters of characters which represent article numbers (e.g. a group of three pairs of numbers followed by a dash and two capital letters). The XTension recognizes text corresponding to this cluster as an article number, exports it, compares it with an ASCII file (e.g. coming from an accounting system) and checks if all article numbers are present. Then the XTension automatically performs a price update in the QuarkXPress document. All article numbers for which a price could not be found in the ASCII file will be listed in a separate error log as well as marked in the XPress document with a user definable string. Here they can be searched and found with QuarkXPress’ own routines. This XTension must be customized.
