Automatically check in of text files in QPS

ex AutoCheckin is a QuarkCopyDesk XTension to check in text files in to  the QuarkPublishingSystem (QPS) automatically. It is possible to set important headers as status or section during the import process. The text can be deleted or moved in the file system.

The XTension may help to transfer articles from one QPS system to another one. The first step is an export as ASCII files from one system. These text files can be imported  to the other QPS system with ex AutoCheckIn.

As long as ex AutoCheckIn is running and use the hot folder option, QuarkCopyDesk cannot be used for other tasks. As soon as a text file is dropped into the hot folder QuarkCopyDesk opens the file and checks it in to QPS.
