EditCheck

Provides separate Text editing Windows within QuarkXPress

EditCheck is a text editing XTension for QuarkXPress. It enables a user to open a separate and floating text editing window that is related to a normal XPress text box. The text in this window can be viewed in any user defined size and font and provides an easy method of writing directly back to the original text box in the page layout. In addition, EditCheck provides a means of tracking changes that have been made to text. In the EditCheck window, deletions can be marked as redlined or struck through and insertions may be indicated by colored or underlined text. Notes may be inserted into the text by users or imported from other systems such as legal notes from lawyers. Word count and overmatter information is also displayed. All notes and changes may be optionally shown or hidden
