connects fields in QuarkXPress documents to SQL databases or QASCII files

The Data Link XTension enables you to define variable fields in a QuarkXPress document. These variable fields refer to fields in a database file and can be placed anywhere on your page. A field can even be used multiple times on the same page. When the information in the database field is altered, the variable fields are automatically adapted. During the updating of the text, the typographic settings of a variable field, as specified with QuarkXPress, will be maintained as well. It is possible to link ASCII fields provided with (alpha) numeric references or directly through an SGML server
