ex ComponentCheck ensures that each article at least has one component 

ex ComponentCheck XTension monitors the characteristics of text box groups to ensure that at least one component type is present in the grouping , that component type being “Body”. This is important for the archiving functions which occur between QPS™ and QDMS™ .

After defining the ex ComponentCheck Preferences the XTension is working in the background. While creating a new article the XTension checks if at least one of the needed components is included.
