Features

Easy input

Users all over your organization can easily access and use Connect’s services. To transfer a file, a user only needs to put the file in one of Connect's watched input folders to transmit it.

File transfer

When transferring files via FTP, Connect is able to mirror entire directory trees, and can therefore easily transfer entire websites, archives or other directory structures.

Parallel processing for high-end file distribution

Supporting Multi-Copy to up to 128 destinations and simultaneous ftp-transmissions, Connect is suitable for large scale file distribution to multiple destinations.

File duplication

One single file can easily be transferred to up to 128 different destinations through the use of Multi-copy channels. Each of these target folders can be an input folder for another channel for further file transmission.

File retrieval

Connect can regularly check a remote ftp server for new files, and pick up new files. Even subdirectories can be checked, and optionally mirrored locally.

File sorting by prefix

Connect is able to sort files based on prefixes in the filenames. The prefixes can be of variable length, and associated with a longer directory name to make the folder structure easier to understand for users.

Packing and unpacking

Connect has built in support for MacBinary, Binhex and ZIP conversion. It will pack Macintosh files in MacBinary format to preserve Macintosh file properties.

Activity logging

Connect writes a detailed log of all activity to let you verify every transmission. It is also possible to log only errors for easier troubleshooting and recovery.
