| Application for transmitting digital documents across the Internet FlightCheck Online (formerly MarkzNet) Client is a Drag&Drop application for transmitting digital documents across the Internet. Each FightCheck Online Client is linked to a specific destination. You can send documents to that destination by simply dragging the document onto the FlightCheck Online icon. Behind the screens, FlightCheck Client performs five functions automatically: Collection of job-ticket data
- after you drag a document on to the FlightCheck Online Client icon, you will be presented with a web page where you can provide the necessary information about your document. Collection of job elements
- before sending the document, the FlightCheck Online Client will try to find all linked images and needed fonts, and it will include these files in the transmission. Preflighting
- before the document is transmitted, it will be preflighted. This prevents documents with major problems from being transmitted in vain. It is up to the receiver to determine what constitutes a 'major problem'. Compression
- FlightCheck Online will create a compressed archive file with all the job elements before transmitting the data. Transmission using FTP
- FlightCheck Online will automatically upload a compressed archive to an FTP server at the receivers side.
